The three handles on each plate speed up loading and unloading weight from bars or machinery, allowing for more convenient adjustments. They are strategically placed to be balanced and also accessible no matter what position the plate is in. As these plates have handles they can even be used on their own to perform weighted exercises such as front delt raises and overhead tricep extensions.
The urethane coating is a hard wearing, durable material that will protect your plates as well as your flooring from scratches and scuff marks, while also removing the problem of stains or reduced friction when sweating. This coating also provides a new textured surface around the handles, allowing for improved grip and a more enjoyable experience.
